There are many places of interest around Knysna to visit on your bike. Take a jaunt along the lagoon to visit The Heads and cruise around Leisure Isle. Ride out along Salt River road and explore further out to take a ride across the Gouna River and through Kom-se-pad (a historical road through magnificent forests.)
Even further out along the Uniondale road venture up to Spitskop for the most incredible views of the surrounding areas. On your way back take the route past Diepwalle and don’t forget to stop at the King Edward VII Big Tree- one of Knysna forest’s biggest trees.
Or why not ride out along the lagoon towards George.Cross the Red Bridge and follow the Phantom Pass and cycle further towards Rheenendal . Stop at Totties for a bite to eat. You can turn back to Knysna or continue along the Seven Passes road.
